Jake Villanueva is passionate about finding solutions to complex issues, which he employs to resolve our clients' concerns. He utilizes his legal writing and research skills to efficiently deliver outcomes across practice areas. Jake relies upon the experience of supervising attorneys to ensure that each matter he works on receives the attention it deserves.

Jake grew up in West Texas, where he first learned to appreciate the value of community and the importance of helping others. Having established roots in Fort Worth, Jake is excited to enjoy all the city offers. When he's not at the office, you will likely find Jake spending time with his wife, watching football, or smoking a brisket.

Representative Experience & Services

During law school, Jake served as a research assistant, primarily tasked with researching and drafting updates to various legal publications to reflect changes in the law. Jake also served as the Student Publications Editor for the Journal of the Energy Law Practitioner, where he was responsible for aiding students with drafting legal comments for later publication. Jake also worked as a teaching assistant for a Civil Procedure course offered at Texas Tech School of Law and a Wills, Trusts, and Estates course offered online at law schools nationwide. During his summers in law school, Jake clerked at law firms throughout Texas, including McDonald Sanders, where he clerked in the Summer of 2022. Jake also contributes to Keeping Current—Probate, featured in the American Bar Association's Probate & Property Magazine.
