Robert Ginsburg

A Fort Worth native with roots that run deep both in the community and in the legal field, Bob Ginsburg has been the trusted legal counsel for prominent area businesses and individuals. Bob’s long-standing and robust practice has spanned over more than 40 years, and heavily focuses on commercial transactions, banking and finance, transportation, and various aspects of real estate, including condemnation and eminent domain and landlord/tenant law.

An additional integral portion of Bob’s practice involves acting as counsel to institutions of higher education on a wide variety of their legal matters, including negotiating employment contracts, providing counsel on NCAA-related matters of compliance and infractions, and negotiating marketing rights and entrance/exit agreements with major college-level sports athletic conferences.

A fierce yet reasonable negotiator, Bob enjoys the challenge of resolving complex legal matters with a refined approach that instills trust and confidence in his clients and colleagues alike. He has been honored with countless awards and honors throughout the years, further cementing his stellar legal reputation.

A devoted art lover and frequent traveler, Bob can also be found in the stands of various area sporting events, especially at TCU games. Along with his wife and their two children, Bob enjoys entertaining in their home. Bob is a graduate of the University of Texas and the University of Houston Law Center where he was Associate Editor of the Law Review. Bob was selected as a Power Attorney in 2011 by the Fort Worth Business Press. He currently serves as a trust of the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth and his high school alma mater, The Storm King School.

Bob’s long-standing and robust practice heavily focuses on commercial transactions, banking and finance, transportation, and various aspects of real estate, including condemnation and eminent domain and landlord/tenant law. With more than 40 years of experience, it is difficult to sum up Bob’s representative experience, but some examples of services include:

  • Advising a Fortune 500 company with the acquisition and development of a corporate campus in north Fort Worth
  • Counsel to two of the area’s largest retail shopping malls
  • Representation of a shareholders’ group in acquiring controlling interest in a national bank and the simultaneous acquisition of a branch banking location from another institution
  • Negotiation of the acquisition of the operating rights of a rail line from Fort Worth to Brownwood, TX on behalf of a short line railroad company

An additional integral portion of Bob’s practice involves acting as counsel to institutions of higher education on a wide variety of their legal matters. Services and examples include:

  • Negotiating numerous employment contracts, including those of athletic directors and coaches
  • Providing counsel of NCAA-related matters of compliance
  • Seasoned representation of his clients before the NCAA Committee on infractions at the Division I and III levels
