James Webb

Jim Webb has extensive experience in the areas of commercial real estate, banking and commercial financing. Jim has represented lenders, governmental entities, developers and individuals concerning the financing, purchase, sale and leasing of commercial real estate. He also has experience in the formation and operation of banks and bank holding companies. Jim is a shareholder and director with McDonald Sanders and has been with the firm for more than 39 years. Prior to entering law school, Jim was employed as an engineer in the aerospace industry for several years.

Representative Experience

  • Advised the Fort Worth Independent School District in its $398 million bond project for improvement of school facilities. The project includes acquisition of vacant and improved properties, leasing of specific facilities, condemnation proceedings, and handling of agreements with architects, contractors, builders and others involved in construction projects.
  • Counsel to banks and bank holding companies, in both formation and bank acquisitions.
  • Serves as local counsel for one of the nationís largest auto finance companies.
