Grant C. Sorenson

Grant's practice focuses on the areas of real estate, oil & gas, business transactions, organization, and banking & finance. Grant is a Fort Worth native and joined McDonald Sanders as an associate in 2014.

Grant assists clients in a variety of commercial, farm and ranch, and residential real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, construction and development, debt financing, management and leasing. He also assists clients in regard to entity formation, governance, acquisitions, sales, dissolution and other business transactions. Additionally, Grant assists clients in various energy (oil, gas and electric) matters, including leasing, purchase agreements, royalty disputes and the handling of surface use issues

While pursuing his law degree at Texas Tech University School of Law, Grant worked as a legal extern for Texas Tech University's Office of General Counsel. In addition, he was a summer law clerk for the Office of the Attorney General of Texas, where he worked in the Consumer Protection and Antitrust divisions. Grant also served as Staff Member and Articles Editor for the Texas Tech Law Review and worked as a Teaching Fellow in the Legal Practice Program.
